Ali'i Animal Hospitals and Hawaiian Humane Society: Spa Days for Shelter Pets

This program is designed to provide these deserving animals with a day of enrichment, grooming, play, and socialization outside the shelter environment.

Every two weeks, an HHS truck delivers up to eight dogs to Ali'i Animal Hospital Kaka'ako for their "me day." During this time, our dedicated team offers baths, grooming, fun activities, and quality social interaction. These experiences not only help the pets relax and reset but also enhance their wellbeing and visibility. We share their refreshed, happy moments on social media to boost their chances of finding loving forever homes.

Our commitment to these animals extends beyond their spa day. Ali'i Animal Hospitals proudly supports every Humane Society adoption by offering free first exams, a complimentary bath and blowout, and a free training session with our skilled trainers. We believe that supporting new pet owners is essential to ensuring a smooth transition and fostering long-lasting bonds.
